Murray Love

Murray Love joined Multi Channel Network (MCN) in 1999, and was appointed to his current role as Research and Strategy Director in 2006.

A joint venture between FOXTEL, AUSTAR, Premier Media Group and XYZ Networks, MCN is responsible for the advertising interests of over 50 national STV channels and over 70 channel and independent websites. MCN is the only media company in Australia to offer digital interactive television advertising via the remote control and video-on-demand advertising.

In 2010, Murray's role was extended to include Multiview - a 6,000 home research panel delivering data and insights into subscription TV's digital services and advertising initiatives. Multiview is Australia's first audience measurement service to use set top box data collection and return path technology. The investment into innovation further readies the STV industry to meet the increasing pace of change within the media landscape.

Prior to MCN, Murray worked at ACNielsen Sydney, where he managed research accounts for FOXTEL and Network Ten. His five years with ACNielsen included an 18-month posting in Brisbane as an Account Manager between 1996 to 1997.

Educated in Sydney, Murray's post school studies include a Bachelor of Business (Management), with a double major in Marketing and Tourism. After leaving university, Murray gained experience in both the Finance and Tourism industries, before the call to Market Research was realised.
