FOXTEL’s largest slate of Australian LifeStyle content continues with more locally commissioned programmes on our screens and going into production.
Smash hit series Gogglebox Australia and Selling Houses Australia are now available to watch, with new episodes tonight at 7:30pm and 8:30pm and the next chapter in FOXTEL’s Find Me… series, Find Your Dream Home, hosted by Deborah Hutton will premiere at 9:35pm.
Deborah Hutton has become one of the most recognisable and best-known personalities in Australia, in Find Your Dream Home she uses her passion for real estate, interiors and home renovations to explore the concept of what a ‘dream home’ is, speaking with the owners and architects to discover how their dream home was realised.
LifeStyle’s local content offering is further expanded with two new formats, The Repair Shop Australia and Selling In The City - the next chapter of FOXTEL’s highest rating local production, Selling Houses Australia.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to throwaway culture, shining a light on the family treasures found in real Aussie homes across the country. Each episode follows host Dean Ipaviz and a team of passionate and highly skilled craftspeople, who together come to the rescue of treasured possessions to be returned to their former glory.
Marshall Heald, FOXTEL’s Executive Director of Entertainment said: “FOXTEL is excited to be shining a light on untold Australian stories, unearthing new talent, and growing our investment in the lifestyle genre. The Repair Shop Australia is a heart-warming and relatable format that uses family heirlooms to tell emotional Australian stories that audiences will fall in love with. The show will also introduce Australians to an exceptional cast of talented craftspeople helping reconnect us to the magic and beauty of the real world.”
The Repair Shop Australia premieres Tuesdays at 8.30pm May 3. Broadcast sponsorships are available, please contact your Foxtel Media representative for more information.
Also in May, multi award-winning architect Peter Maddison is back for a 10th season of the 2021 AACTA Award winning series for Best Lifestyle program, Grand Designs Australia, premiering Thursday, May 5.
