Sky News coverage of Election 2019 delivered its highest rating day of the year as 877,000 viewers on Foxtel tuned in across the day.

Sky News was the #1 non-sports channel and set an all-time record audience all-day share of 6.35%.

The election night coverage  Australia Decides from 5:00pm – 12:26am reached 737,000 viewers, with an average audience of 132,000, representing a 44% increase compared to the 2016 election night.

Viewership peaked at 10.16pm with an average audience of 207,000 as Sky News Live held the  #1 channel position in STV homes from 10pm onwards.

Digital platforms added an incremental 568,000 viewers to the Sky News election night coverage with more than 186,000 Foxtel IPTV device streams, 242,000 views across News Corp mastheads, 50,000 viewers on SkyNews.com.au and 90,000 on YouTube.

Across the 38-day campaign period, 2.08 million Australian voters tuned into Sky News Live accounting for a 34% reach across subscription television viewers aged 18+.
