Snowfall is a drama set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic and its ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it. The story follows numerous characters on a violent collision course, including Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), young street entrepreneur on a quest for power; Gustavo Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), a Mexican wrestler caught up in a power struggle within a crime family; Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson) a CIA operative running from a dark past who begins an off-book operation to fund the Nicaraguan Contras; and Luica Villanueva (Emily Rios), the self-possessed daughter of a Mexican crime lord.

From the DC Universe, comes a new superhero drama, Doom Patrol. The Doom Patrol’s members were all involved in horrible accidents. These accidents gave them superhero abilities but left them all disfigured. All of them were in dismay until they were found by The Chief (aka Niles Caulder). After finding The Chief, the group found a purpose, and together they investigate the strangest occurrences in existence, and they protect the Earth. The Doom Patrol is full of super-powered freaks, who fight for a wold that has no sympathy for them. Season 1 ended with the resuce of Niles Caulder and the defeat of Mr. Nobody… for now! Season 2will be full of new mysteries and plenty of action as we get to know more about each other characters.

Wentworth, the 2019 Logie sinning show for Outstanding Drama Series is set to return in 2020. We head back to the prison community that is still reeling from the aftermath of the bloody siege with a new leader at the helm. Even a the prison starts to rebuild after the siege, many of the prisoners and offices struggle to cope with the memories. Season 8 will also see the addition of Jane Hall, Kate Box and Zoe Terakes to the show as well as the return of the Freak (Pamela Rabe) who is alive! Everyone is eagerly awaiting the return of Wentworth and hopefully it will produce similar numbers, if not better this season come out of 2019 as Foxtel’s #3 Drama title.
